Where in the world have I been? Well ... I've come to the computer a few times to blog, and I guess because I got out of the habit this summer, I talked myself out of it ... however, I've overcome the feeling of the "need" to play catch up by date ... and just decided to post.
I plan to catch up what's been going on in our world in the next few days ... but today - I just wanted to post ... a simple post.
I just picked up LeAnna from school ... she got in the car and said, "well, I have to tell you something"! "I got a note in my desk today, and it said, I love you, and it was from Zach!"
So I said ... wow! Your first I love you note ... what did you do with it, I want to see?
She said, "well, I gave it to the teacher, and she said, LeAnna do you want this kind of stuff to continue or stop? and she said, I told her I wanted it to stop" ... so the teacher kept the note.
Oh well ...
Then she said, "look what he gave me" and she held out four quarters ...
I said, "who gave you?"
she said, "Zach"
I said, "why did he give you 4 quarters"
she said, "4 quarters make a dollar and he wanted me to have it!"
Wow! An I love you note and money all in the same day from the same guy!
ha! oh well ... she came home in tears and ran to her room ... said she didn't want to be bugged about it ...
AAHHHHHHHH ... the beginning stages of "growing up a girl".
Well ... I have plenty to post, but another day ....
