Do you realize that tomorrow begins the first day of the month that ends the first half of the year? ... yeah ... think about it ...
Another busy week ... wow!
Graduation on Monday ...
Computer problems to be solved on Tuesday ...
Work, housework, and a little R&R on Wednesday ...
And another graduation today - Thursday ...
We had an 8th grade graduation to attend this morning for Marshall Roberts (the brother to Margaret who graduated from High School on Monday - who Mom is also "Nana" to)
It was a very nice ceremony and we went to lunch afterwards ...
Now it's back to work!
So ... LeAnna's "many questions" that she comes up with ... she came up with a doozie a couple of days ago ...
She must have really been pondering some stuff ... I don't even remember exactly what we were doing ... but she was quiet and had been "thinking" ... then she said, "Mommy, does God have a wife?"
So I said ... Ah ... no ... (the whole time, in my mind I'm thinking ... okay ... she's had LOTS of questions about marriage, babies, having babies if you're not married, getting married again so you can have a baby, etc. lately ... so I was bracing myself for what was next) ...
She had a funny look on her face and then she said ... "but every King needs a Queen" ...
how sweet is that!
"Exactly", I said ... (all the while thinking ... okay, how do I explain the church is the bride, or the "queen" I could say ... or no, wait ... maybe I should refer to it as God being the Prince and the church is the Princess .... aaahhhhh .... what should I say next?! ... how do you explain something like this to a 5 year old ... hmmm ...)
then she said ...
"Oh, I get it ... I'm God's little Princess" ...
(Okay ... yep ... good enough for me!)
So I said ... "that's exactly right"! (so glad that I didn't have to try and confuse her with the intricacy of church history and bibilical philosophies)
Leave it to LeAnna bug ...
Here's a random thought for today ...
"The hardness of the butter is proportional to the softness of the bread."
