Starring Nate Magi ... Making his debut on Clarksville Hwy ...

Nate debuted as a Magi in his first "Christmas Drama" ...

He did a great job!!!

LeAnna had a small part with the sign team at the end of the drama ...

They had fun!

Nate had been practicing for a few weeks and was glad the weekend was over ... I know everyone was, but it was worth all the effort and everyone did a great job!

Now ... to cut the beard!

Let The Festivities Begin ...

Today was LeAnna's Christmas party at school ... it also ended up being her last day of school before break ... after finding out that she would not be counted absent on Thursday, we decided not to send her ... she was totally fine starting Christmas break early!!!

Tis The Season ...

The Goodies are baked ... the Gifts are made ... it's the last day of school before Christmas break ...

ALL the creatures are stirring and wanting some "stuff" ... I'm about worn out and need a soak in the tub ...

Ok ... a poet I'm NOT ... ha! oh well ...

Tomorrow is LeAnna's last day of school before a 3 week break! There is actually a 1/2 day on Thursday but I was informed that the students would not be counted ... SO we're sleeping in!!!

Woo-Hoo!!!!

LeAnna's class party is tomorrow afternoon ... she's very excited!

Her homework this week was writing notes of encouragement on cards to each student in her class to exchange at the party ...

I found these cute bags and couldn't resist ... so with her note on the back of each one and a few hugs and kisses on the inside - she's good to go!

yeah - still laughing at the one on the end addressed to Jordan ... her and her friend Jordan have had nicknames since Kindergarten ... "hot dog and cheese" ... oh my ... her new best friend this year is Amber ... their nicknames are "buff and puff" ... hmmmm ... ha! oh well - it makes her smile ... it's funny though ... my dad always had nicknames for EVERYONE!!! funny ...

She's also delivering some homemade banana nut bread to the teachers ... it's such a happy time and she's so excited about taking them to the staff ...

Whew - I'm tired! Been crazy busy making sure my clients are happy and have their cards ... I'm about ready to slow down a bit, hopefully ... I haven't even started on our card yet! yikes!

The Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day! ...

Today was LeAnna's field trip to the children's theatre ...

Nostalgic for me - because I haven't actually been in that building since I was her age in elementary school ... they've spruced up a bit since then! =0)

We saw the performance of "Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day"!

LeAnna has been very sick the last couple of days ... and today she was well enough to go back ... and she was very glad because she didn't want to miss the performance.

It was fun ... LeAnna really enjoys her friends at school ...

Nothing Like A Good Cookie!

Tuesday night was my 7th annual cookie exchange party ...

We had a great time!

I love that I've stuck with this and done it for 7 years ... it's so much fun to see what everyone is going to create and come up with ...

We secret ballot judge in three categories ...

- Best Tasting

- Best Presentation

- Most Original

All the cookies were GREAT - and you could tell a lot of time, thought and effort went into each presentation ...

There were a lot of guests who were unable to attend ... but we had 12 and I look forward every year to seeing everyone and chatting ... some that attend I see often, some I don't see much ... so it's always a very neat night for me.

Next year is #8 !!!!!

The Bee Factory ... oh my goodness ... girlfriend must have started the day after last years party! ;0) This was Great!!! notice the dough in the bowl, then dough balls going up the conveyor belt, turning into baked cookies ... and then dumping into the bowl off the conveyor belt! ... Ingenious!

This one seriously flipped me out! "Reindeer Poop" cookies ... the reindeer is sitting on the side of the bowl "pooping" cookies with toilet paper on one arm and a magazine on the other hand! LOVE IT!!!!!!
