Okay ... went to the doctor with LeAnna ... they don't think it's Fifth Disease ...
She's thinking a skin rash virus ... there is one going around ... also strep is going around like crazy ... every patient seen this morning had strep ... so they did a strep test ... no strep ... the doc was actually disappointed - she could easily treat that!
She brought in another doc for a 2nd opinion ... she told me to come home and make picture documentation so that we could compare it this evening and in the morning ...
Her cheek is actually drooping and holding fever ... it's pitiful ... she wanted us to keep a close watch on it and call immediately if there are any changes ... she did not want a staph infection to develop .. AND she said, "don't go home and start looking stuff up on the Internet, you'll just flip out ... okay ... too late ... ha! I had done that before going to the doctor!
So ... we're doing a antibiotic topical treatment, taking Benedryl, Claritin and Motrin ... and just waiting!

Just the "not knowing" what it is - is about to drive me nuts!
Kaitlyn's is both cheeks - which would make you think more Fifth Disease ... she has an appointment this afternoon ... just weird that they both developed this at the same time yesterday after spending time together on Friday ... guess we'll see what her doc says.
Oh well ... always something ...
We DO NOT lead ordinary, boring lives ... sometimes I wish we did - just to catch a break! ha!
OH well ... I'll post later with progress - or for her sake, hopefully "no progress" ...
