He Did It!!!!!
2 hours, 45 minutes ... 13.1 miles
He went 15 minutes over the goal he had set for himself ... but the heat and 30,000 people had to be taken into consideration ...
He did AWESOME!!!! "Team Nate" was there to cheer him on (David, LeAnna, Tammy) at the half way mark (6 miles) ...
and "Team Nate" was there at the finish line too - (David, LeAnna, Thomas, Renee and Tammy)
What an accomplishment!
The Victory Drink was better on his head than in his mouth!
On a sad note ... about 40 minutes before he hit the finish line ... we witnessed a participant being taken into the medic tent ... they were doing CPR when they arrived with him ... young guy ... they worked on him for about 10 minutes and then took him by ambulance to the hospital ... I'm so afraid we witnessed his death ... they could never get him to respond ... it was absolutely horrible to watch - we were praying for him ... I can't stop thinking about it ... horrible!
It's a busy rest of the day for me ... I have clients this afternoon and tomorrow ... busy weekend!

Such a tragedy for the family of the other participant. So sorry you witnessed it. Did LeAnna?
That is awesome! Tell Nathan we are proud of him. We got to "shout out" to him on Saturday during a phone call he made to Brennan. That is a major accomplishment. The question is, will he continue running?
