A Mountain Top Mansion ...

Good Afternoon ...

We're back!

We arrived back in Nashville last night ...

And it's been a busy day so far!

We had a GREAT time at the Family Reunion in Gatlinburg, Tennessee.

We stayed in the Mountain Top Mansion at Gatlinburg Falls ... it was a very large place ... comfortably sleeps 30 ... and we pulled out a few couches into beds. Every room was either a king or full/queen bunks, each had their own bathroom and cable tv ... no need to leave your room if you didn't want to! Right outside our room (on the very top) was a nice swing that overlooked the mountains! Gorgeous sight!

We all had our "moments" thinking of Mama Neely ... it was not a sad time ... it was a special time of "new beginnings" for the Neely Family ... she will always be at the foremost of our thoughts when it comes to "the Neelys" ... but now we're moving forward with the seeds of wisdom, knowledge and love she planted in each of us to carry on and to pass on.

This year we could tell that LeAnna was REALLY growing up fast! She didn't really need much assistance and we didn't see her a whole lot ... only to help "find someone" who was hiding or to grab her a drink from the fridge! In the recent years, she's been right on my skirt tail, holding on ... wanting me to "play along" with all the other kids ... Not this year!

Yes ... my baby is growing up! And FAST ... and special thanks to the Neely family members who reminded me so! ha!

This was the first time she's ever rode a go-cart! This is a family tradition of the Neelys ... to go and ride go-carts ... she kept telling Nathan she was going to do it this time ... we weren't sure if she would or not.

Well ... she did ... and LOVED it!

And I would LOVE to post some pictures of her doing so ... but once again ... good 'ol blogspot is not cooperating ...

So ... I'll post some later ...

Happy Wednesday, this beautiful, crisp fall day ... tammy
