"Reflect" was definitely a word that was put into action this weekend!
My friend Alicia Becton got married Saturday ... there were so many "old friends" that were there ... it was like a mini-reunion ...
It was so nice seeing everyone and meeting new friends as well ... I met Kathy McElhaney (sister in law of Lisa McElhaney Wearing) ... I "stalk" her blog - ha! She's such an encourager to me ... and it was exciting to finally meet her ...
Lisa and I were joking ... now that Alicia was married this would be one of the last "happy" occasions that would cause us all to get together ... we're getting so old, now it would be "deaths and funerals" that would get us all together ... YIKES! That makes you feel old quick!
oh well ...
It was a beautiful wedding and nice to just get together again ... "thanks Alicia for throwing us a party!"

this is Rev. Rick Flowers ... he was my "boyfriend" when I was 3 ... my grandparents used to fix dinner and have him over all the time when he was 'single' in the 70's ... and he became my "boyfriend" during that time ... haven't seen him since the 70's ... it was neat talking to him after all this time ... he pastors in Texas and is married to my former pastor, Ron Becton's sister, Renee ...
