Good Morning ... last evening we had dinner with one of my best girlfriends from childhood and her family. We ate at a new restaurant (to us) called Hickory Falls in Smyrna, Tennessee. Food was great - we will definitely return! We had a GREAT time of food, fun and fellowship with the Sloans of Murfreesboro! =) I think we take for granted, the people we see and share with everyday - but when you get together with friends "every so often", you realize how much "time has elapsed" since the last time you were together and you find "catching up" is TOTALLY a blast and you ALWAYS say, "Man, we've got to do this more often!" - "Thanks!" to the Sloans for a memorable evening ... and the kids ... WOW! They grow up way too fast! LeAnna is shy (hard to believe that just came out of my mouth) but believe it or not, she is a little shy "at first" ... she had made "valentines" yesterday to give Maggie and Lincoln and when it came time to give them, she handed Maggie hers, but Lincolns had to pass from her to me to him! =) ... BUT ... by the end of the evening - Lincoln and LeAnna were making eyes at each other and Maggie even carried her out of the restaurant! Precious children (and parents) - we love you so much!
Okay - SNOW?!?!?!? It's actually covering the ground ... maybe if we "raked" the entire subdivision we might get a midgit snowman! =) Oh well ... looks like all we're going to get is the 20 degrees that feels like about 20 degrees today! =)
