Anyhoo ...
Not to "dampen her spirits" ... but LeAnna has found a "favorite" headband that she likes to wear ... and what is SO funny ... is ... well ... she's getting older ... and it's SO hard for me ... she wants to take her own showers, wash her hair herself ... dry her hair ... the works! Now ... she's picking out her clothes and fixing her own hair! Which is okay ... I guess ... just helps me to realize that she's growing up ... at a very fast rate!
So ... when looking through the pictures we have taken this week ... just about every picture ... she has this same headband on! ha!
Not sure why she loves it so much ... but she does ...
We even bought new ones this week ...
Oh well ...
So ... not laughing at her or even saying anything about it, other than encouraging her to maybe try a "new one on" ... =) Just funny ... that she has this on in just about every picture! Guess I'm going to have to do a "scrapbook page" about "the headband"!

this pic ... is at Lady & Son's Restaurant! FINALLY! Eating the buffet!
this pic ... was at Uncle Bubba's Oyster House ... the funny thing is this ... they had life size cardboard cut outs of Uncle Bubba and Paula Deen ... so I asked LeAnna to pose with them for a picture ... which she did ... and it almost looks real ... THEN ... I wanted Nate to take my picture ... so ... I scooted in really close ... trying to make it look like I was "really with them" for the pic ... even had my arm around Paula ... and Uncle Bubba fell over! Mind you ... this is in the middle of the restaurant ... with people all around at their tables eating ... and NOW gazing at me! I try to pick him up ... get him set back up ... and walk off ... and they both fell over! ha! oh well ... me and my luck!
The next thing we knew ... a worker is back there trying to set them back up ... we are at our table laughing!
So ... the pic of me with them is not really good ...
this is a pic of LeAnna on the Vagabond getting ready for her Dolphin Cruise! She saw all kinds of dolphins right beside the boat ... she was SO excited!!!!
Well ... tomorrow is our last official day here ... we leave Saturday morning early ... meeting family in Atlanta for lunch and then heading home ...
It's been a great vacation ... we have found a "new refuge" .... BUT ... it has also passed WAY too fast ... as always ...
Love my family vacations .... they are something my parents started with me as a tradition when I was a small child and I have looked back over the years ... and smiled just recalling those special moments with my Mom and Dad ...
Nate and I decided a few years ago, that we wanted to have this same tradition in our family of three ...
so ...
here we are ... just making some memories for all of us to recall at a later time ...
