We're back! Had a nice "tour of remembrance"! The doctor had emergency surgery and was unable to meet with us ... we have an appointment to go back on Tuesday afternoon next week. We were able to take her "goodie bag" to her office and put it in her chair. LeAnna made her a card and wrote "Thank You For Fixing My Heart" inside. LeAnna is scheduled to meet with the "Life People" while we are there next Tuesday ... These are the same people that met with her prior to surgery and explained with dolls what was going to happen to her. Maybe this will help. We were able to talk with "Tina" Dr. Christian's nurse, and give her some "goodies" too ... LeAnna proudly lifted her dress and showed her scar (she's proud of her scar) ... we had lunch in the food court (pizza) and went to the gift shop! Had to buy some lip gloss! She also did a little dance on the "stage" on the 2nd floor, by the butterfly wall. We had a fun afternoon.
Hopefully next Tuesday will prove helpful.
Tomorrow is LeAnna's egg hunt at school! She's excited about this! And needless to say - Mommy will be there to take a "few" pictures!!!!! ha!

Well once again, I've cried reading your blog. I actually went thru the entire thing this morning - Jan-now. I'm curious about the "O'Charley's incident" - what happened? E-mail me if you have time sometime.
Have fun at the egg hunt! Ours is Saturday at church, can't wait to get good pictures!
