Brain Freeze ...

Good Morning ...

LeAnna and her playdate Kaitlyn, had a fun-filled day and it ended at Dave and Buster's ... imagine that ... a "convenient" place for their "Dad's to watch the Bastketball Game!"

They were both EXHAUSTED and fell asleep at the table!

Well ... Gabanna's "visit" ends tomorrow! We are very sad - he has been so much fun and a very good doggie this week!

LeAnna asked her Daddy this morning for her "very own" puppy! .... his answer "on the speakerphone" was a little "scattered" and "around the bush" ... not sure if she "truly" heard the word no in all of that polished, sugar-coated response!

... this morning LeAnna asked for a "water" ... so I gave her a cold, bottled water from the fridge ... she took a drink pretty quick and then said... "Mom ... you know when you drink water and then it's all gone down and then it comes back up in your head and hurts really bad? ... it just did that!" .... AAAHHHHH Brain Freeze! She experienced her first "Brain Freeze"! My friend Karla is 38 years old and "TRIES" to make it happen and can't! Since the beginning of our friendship (18 years ago) she has tried SO HARD to get a brain freeze, to no avail!

Just a "huummmmm ..." for today ... okay .... imagine your "favorite fast food restaurant" ... okay, now imagine if you went there, what you would order ... okay, now imagine eating it ... you can taste it in your mind right? .... okay ... now ... imagine going through the drive thru, getting your "favorite" ... taking it home .... unpackaging it out of "it's packaging" ... putting it on one of your dinner plates .... and then sitting down to eat it ....

... maybe it's just me ... BUT .... it DOES NOT taste the same! ... Call me crazy ... but it does not!

Took the girls to Wendy's yesterday to get them some "Stuart Little Kids Meals" ... brought them home and they watched "Beethoven's 5th" while eating ... so ... I picked me up a #1 and instead of eating it out of "it's wrapper" ... I put it on a dinner plate, along with some ketchup and had my lunch with them ... it tasted TOTALLY different than it tastes eating it out of it's wrapper ... if you have never done this ... try it ... like I said .... maybe it's just me ... but anyhoo ... oh well ...

Okay ... so ... it's Friday! And I have a million things to do today ... as usual ... so Happy Friday as I leave you with this "random thought" ....
